극대화된 에어로 다이나믹함과 차량의 경량화는 508 SW의 개발 초기부터 친환경적인 성능을 가능케 하기 위한 가장 중요한 요소로 여겨져 왔습니다. 이를 통해 0.26이라는 동급 세그먼트의 차량들 중 놀라운 공기저항 계수를 나타내고 있습니다. 또한 508 SW의 차체가 407에 비해 4.7cm가 늘어난 데에 비해 차량의 무게는 45kg이 줄이며 다이나믹한 주행감과 동시에 수동적인 안전을 더욱 강화하였습니다.
Stop and Start engine
The Peugeot 508 SW ushers in the era of e-Hdi technology for the Brand, a new-generation STOP&START. Fast, efficient and silent, e-Hdi combines reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions (up to -15% in town) with maximum driveability, an innovation for this type of system. It is combined with the 1.6 litre HDi FAP engine coupled with the BMP6 (electronically-controlled 6-speed manual gear box) so that you can benefit from the lowest possible fuel consumption.
